Patrick Swenson served as Sweden’s ambassador to Albania during a period marked by significant bilateral engagement. The Swedish Embassy in Tirana, active since 2010, has been a key player in supporting Albania’s efforts toward European Union membership. Under Swenson’s tenure, Sweden focused on development cooperation in areas such as human rights, democracy, the rule of law, gender equality, sustainable development, and inclusive economic growth.
