Zeynep is a Professor at Istanbul University, specializing in the preservation and management of cultural heritage. She has significant expertise in the fields of architectural conservation, heritage management, and the intersection of cultural heritage with sustainable development. Zeynep is also serving as the Deputy President of ICOMOS (International Council on Monuments and Sites), contributing to global efforts in safeguarding cultural heritage. Her academic and professional work focuses on advancing research in heritage conservation, public engagement, and promoting international cooperation in the preservation of cultural sites.
