Launch of Heritage & Co’ – Call for Volunteer Applicant

We are pleased to announce the launch of the new volunteer program for all heritage enthusiasts who wish to contribute to its preservation by supporting the implementation of our activities.

Our vision

This program is the result of a long tradition of inspiring collaboration with local and international volunteers. Building on this experience, we now wish to expand your scope to all heritage-related activities, and create a space where the needs of implementing an activity will meet the skills and desires of fresh talents. As we believe that, as agents of your community, you are best able to raise awareness of local heritage in your own way, we therefore see heritage volunteering as one of the keys to vitalizing its understanding and supporting its sustainability.

Volunteering Format

In concrete terms, this program is a long-term or short-term commitment where applicants would be called upon for specific and punctual missions (on average 1 hour 30 minutes, 2 hours per activity/mission) according to their skills and interests, and considering their availability. In return, volunteers will acquire an insight and practical experience in different professional spheres related to cultural heritage while developing both social and technical abilities. Animation of Heritage Ateliers, documentation of activities, cultural and heritage mediation, guiding tours, support for the coordination of an event…Lots of opportunities to let your creativity shine through and get involved in your own way!

During these activities, you will be able to meet many people from various cultural and professional backgrounds, exchange with locals and (re)discover Albania through its stories, memories and tangible testimonies.

How to participate?

To be part of the program, we invite you to fill in the application form available here. This will allow us to get to know the profiles of each volunteer in order to determine their expectations and to meet them as accurately as possible. Thus, the more precise the application form will be, the better we will be able to meet everyone’s wishes.

We will provide the means to carry out your mission by accompanying and training volunteers through workshops. Finally, all expenses incurred during the mission will be covered and the volunteer will receive the payment of a symbolic sum for their valuable support.
