Platformat e Fuqizimit dhe të Mësimit përmes Trashëgimisë

The purpose of the ‘Heritage Empowering and Learning Platforms’ project was to co-create four new educational models. The creation of these models was spread over several stages, combining consultative and training sections for participants and stakeholders.

The project involved a collaborative process with various stakeholders and beneficiaries in all three above-mentioned cities, resulting in the development of four educational models inspired by cultural heritage sites: The Kurcaj Bridge in Kruja, the Ethnographic Museums in Kruja and Kavaja, and the Bashtova Castle in Rrogozhinë.

The creation of these models involved a team of illustrators, authors, subject-matter experts, educationalists, communication specialists, and heritage interpretation experts, supported by the coordinating team of CHwB Albania. Additionally, a series of consultative and training workshops (totaling nine) were conducted in each project venue, allowing local stakeholders to develop a sense of ownership over the models and encouraging their continued involvement.

The project culminated in three launching events held in Kavaja, Kruja, and Rrogozhina, where the educational models were showcased and celebrated. The project “Heritage Empowering and Learning Platforms”, is funded by the European Union. Funding was provided through the EU4Culture program, implemented by UNOPS Albania and in coordination with the Ministry of Culture.
